Alternate from the east: Take Ashburn Farm Parkway west until it turns into Sycolin Road (at Belmont Ridge Road/659). Make a right on to Evergreen Mill Road, the next right on to Tolbert Lane, and a final right into the park. Make a left onto Battlefield Parkway, and then follow to the end. Alternate from the east: Take Route 7 West to Battlefield Parkway, just before entering Leesburg. At the second light, turn right on to Battlefield Parkway. From the east: Take the Dulles Greenway to the Battlefield Parkway exit. Make a right at the light at the end of the exit ramp. Take the first exit, Battlefield Parkway (no toll). Alternate from the west: Take Route 7 East to the Dulles Greenway. Freedom Park is immediately on the right. Turn left on to Tolbert Lane, just after Simpson Middle School on the left and Evergreen Mill Elementary School on the right. From the west: Take Route 7 East to Route 15 South. Follow the signs to get on to the Dulles Greenway. A covered pavilion/picnic area is located near the softball fields.ĭirections From the north: Take Route 15 Bypass South. Permanent bathroom facilities are available. All fields have covered bleachers, and a snack bar is available. On the right are two softball fields: Casciano and Mayr. Two baseball fields are on the right as you drive in: Reavis is the closer field and Huber the further. The playground has a soft "fall zone" and is fully wheelchair-accessible, including the swings.101 Colonel Grenata Circle, Leesburg VA 20175įreedom Park is located in the southeast part of Leesburg, off Tolbert Lane SE near Evergreen Mill Road. It's located behind the Splashpark and playground. Skateboard Plaza is the go-to spot for skateboarding and trick-biking. There's also space for your own lawn chairs and blankets to spread out and enjoy the day. The Picnic Area has shade and a patio with tables and benches. You can bring your own picnic or purchase food from the nearby Strike Zone Café in Bowl Arena Lanes. If days are warm enough, the park opens before Memorial Day. The waters generally operate from Memorial through Labor Day. The Splash Park's water fountains and sprays are a fun way to cool off on hot days! Touch any of the red poles to start the water.
